A MXene Modified Laser-induced Graphene-based Hybrid Biosensing Patch for Human Sweat Analysis

Vitamin C and glucose are important nutrients in human physiology. Vitamin C is a water-soluble nutrient essential for proper human growth and physiological function. Glucose is the main energy source for cellular activity in the body, and it is important to maintain blood glucose levels for the homeostatic system. In this study, we developed a hybrid biosensing patch for the determination of Vitamin C and glucose in sweat using MXene/Pt nanoparticles (PtNPs) nanocomposite modified laser-induced graphene electrode. MXene/PtNPs was utilized as good electrocatalyst materials. Fig.1 (a) shows the fabrication process of the hybrid patch. Fig.1 (b) and (c) show the amperometric response of the glucose concentration from 0 mM to 1 mM and the linear regression curve, where R2 was calculated to be 0.99, respectively. Figure (d) and (e) exhibit the amperometric response of the vitamin C concentration from 0 mM to 5 mM and a linear regression curve, where R2 was calculated to be 0.99, respectively.
