RF MEMS 가변 커패시터 기반 다중대역 재구성 가능 전력증폭기

This paper presents RF MEMS (radio frequency micro- electro-mechanical systems) tunable capacitor for RF power amplifier frequency band selection applications. The fabricated RF MEMS tunable capacitor exhibited the capacitance of about 4.8 pF at ‘ON’ state. The tunable capacitor was assembled with the RF CMOS power amplifier chip using wire bonding technique. The assembled power amplifier can be useful to three different frequency bands of 0.9 GHz / 1.8 GHz, 2.4 GHz, respectively. Measured output powers were 24.6 dBm, 27.3 dBm, and 27.9 dBm at 0.9 GHz, 1.8 GHz, and 2.4 GHz, respectively.
